Dennis is one of the most knowledgeable baseball people I know. But what's even more impressive is his keen ability to communicate. He teaches in a way that athletes can really understand. There are countless success stories under his guidance that are a result of the player understanding and then implementing what Dennis is teaching.

Coach Long has worked with my son Anthony now for the past 5 years and he has done an AMAZING job with him. He is a lefty and threw somewhat of a side arm. However, when he started going to Coach Long, he literally broke down his mechanics and rebuilt them. The patience, encouraging words and motivation Coach Long uses during each lesson is a testament to his character. Coach Long cares about young arms. This is very evident with the information he shares as well as time spent with my son on what to do during the off season as well as in season. We are so thankful to have found him. The 1 hr and 15 minute ride  is well worth it! Thank you for your time and love for the game Coach Long!

I played for the mystic schooners under his watch for the whole summer of 2017. Coach Long clearly knows baseball from his years of playing professionally and has a great understanding for the game and how to be coach when needed or be an ear to bend as well. Coach Long cares about you as more than just a player. He cares about your well-being, development and experience each and every day. He has reached out to check on me each year since I’ve been with the team, which just proves how much he values relationships and the kids he coaches. 

Dennis has helped my son's confidence tremendously! The positive reinforcement approach works well because my son actually listens to the feedback instead of focusing on what he did wrong. Lessons with Dennis has been the best decision we've made for our son's baseball growth in pitching and hitting!

Dennis has worked with both my boys for the past years and is a true professional. Always upbeat with instruction and pushes them in new and creative ways every session. Dennis has become a true friend to the Snow family and always encourages my boys to reach for the next level, my older son is playing in college and my youngest is on his way.

Dennis has been working with my son on his form and velocity.I have been in or around baseball for 40 years and have experienced other pitching coaches. Dennis is very detailed and the majority of his teachings are on the little things that can hurt a pitcher physically and mentally. I am extremely satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism! He is a great coach and a strong leader.
